Ashley is the owner, creator and sole employee of Artbyashleyparent. The shop and business came from a journey of art, creativity and self-care while working in an intense job. Ashley was living with their sister, and one day she brought home resin. Ashley tried it and that was the start. After MANY failed attempts at many products Ashley landed it with the trinket dish and figured out how to use resin properly. Ashley then went onto making book weights and many other resin items. Eventually Ashley got the itch for a new medium to work with a delved into some drawing and started making stickers and eventually the Butterfly Pride Pins. Ashley ran a Kickstarter for the first set of pins and soon they were known for their pins. Ashley soon got into making clay earrings and dabbling in embroidery. Ashley is known as a jack-of-all trades, and loves working with a variety of mediums to show off different skills.
